Which GT-R generations can I rent in Tokyo?
We stock the R32 (BNR32), R34 (HR34, ER34) and R35 generations. The R35 fleet includes the Abflug Red Dragon, GODZILLA, Silver Dragon and Black Dragon trims. R34 GT-R itself (BNR34) is extremely rare worldwide and currently not in our self-drive fleet.
How much does it cost to rent a GT-R for a day in Tokyo?
R35 GT-R daily rate is JPY 56,800. R34-generation Skyline is JPY 28,800/day. R32 BNR32 is JPY 39,800/day. Add JPY 19,800/day for full CDW insurance. Refundable deposit applies (JPY 50,000 – 200,000 depending on car).
Can I drive the GT-R on the highway and to Mount Fuji?
Yes. Unlimited mileage within Japan. The R35 in particular is the perfect car for the Tokyo–Hakone–Mount Fuji loop or a night cruise to Daikoku PA. We can recommend driving routes when you pick up.
Do I need a Japanese licence to drive a GT-R?
No. Bring your home-country driving licence plus an International Driving Permit (IDP) under the 1949 Geneva Convention. Non-Geneva countries need a Japanese translation of their licence instead. Minimum age for GT-R rental is 25.
What happens if I scratch the car?
With CDW insurance selected, your liability is capped at the deposit amount. We document the car condition at pick-up and drop-off with photos. Minor stone chips on the bumper from highway driving are considered fair wear.
Where do I pick up the GT-R?
OnlyJDM Haneda Main Store (5 minutes from Haneda Airport) or OnlyJDM Adachi Store (north Tokyo). Both 10:00-19:00 every day. Most international visitors choose Haneda for convenience.
