Keep in mind that fines for speeding can be steep, and repeated offenses may lead to license suspension.

2. Highway Cameras:

The use of speed cameras is widespread across Japan's highways and major roads. These cameras are designed to catch speeding vehicles and automatically issue fines. In addition to speed monitoring, some cameras also track violations related to traffic signal running and other driving infractions. Always stay within the designated speed limits, as there is little tolerance for violations.

3. Parking Violations:

Illegal parking is taken very seriously in Japan. Parking in unauthorized areas, such as in front of fire hydrants, in residential zones without a permit, or in spaces marked with "No Parking" signs, can result in hefty fines.
