1. What do I need to rent a car in Japan?


 Valid documents to drive in Japan (Please look at the section "Driving in Japan" for more information). The credit card for payment. The passport or residence card for identification (copies are not accepted).      

 





2. What are the age and driving experience requirements?


 GT-R / BNR32 / RX7 / LC500 / S2000: at least 26 years old and must hold a valid driver’s license for at least 3 years.                     

All other vehicles: at least 23 years old and must hold a valid driver’s license for at least 3 years.

JDM Self-Drive Tour: at least 21 years old and must hold a valid driver's license for at least 3 years.

 





3. Do I need to speak Japanese to rent a car?


  We offer multilingual support (10:00 AM - 6:30 PM in EnglishJapanese, French, Italian, Mandarin, German).






4. Are toll fees included in the rental price?


No. Toll fees are not included and will be settled when you return the vehicle.

 






5. Can I rent an ETC card?


Yes. ETC card is available for JPY660 (tax included) per day.

 






6. How are fuel charges calculated?


 Full-to-full: The vehicle is provided with a full tank and must be returned with a full tank.

 If the vehicle is not returned with a full tank, a refueling charge of JPY250 per liter plus a JPY3,300 service fee (tax included) will apply.

 





7. Do you offer vehicle delivery?


Due to limited staff availability, we do not offer vehicle delivery.

 






8. Can I return the car to a different store?


No. The vehicle must be returned to the same store where you pick it up.





9. What should I do if I have an accident?


If you are involved in an accident, first make sure you are in a safe location and call the police at 110. Then contact us as soon as possible. All accidents, including minor ones, must be reported to the police. Do not make any private settlement with the other party, and follow the instructions of the police and our staff.
