To join the self drive tour, you must be legally allowed to drive in Japan.
We need to confirm whether you hold a valid Japanese driver’s license, or a valid driver’s license from your home country accompanied by an International Driving Permit (IDP) issued under the 1949 Geneva Convention, or for certain countries an official Japanese translation of your driver’s license.
Driver must be at least 21 years old and have held a valid manual driver's license for at least 3 years. On the day of departure, please bring the original copies of your passport and driver's license, along with either the International Driving Permit (IDP) or the official Japanese translation of your driver's license.

The time of departure is 5 PM (17:00) and the end of tour is 9 PM (21:00).
Please arrive at the store 30 mins before the departure time.
If you can not match the departure time your order will be cancelled and no refund.
Included in the Price: vehicle rental fee during the tour, highway toll fee, fuel fee, lite protection plan fee, lead car and staff service fee.
Not Included: additional driver fee (JPY3,300 per person, available to add and pay for at departure) and premium protection plan fee (upgrade available at departure by paying the price difference)
The Itinerary
- 5PM | Depart from OnlyJDM Haneda Airport Store
- Daikoku PA | Approx. 60-minute stop
- A PIT AUTOBACS Shinonome (large automotive accessories store) | Approx. 30-minute stop
- Tokyo Tower area | Approx. 10-minute photo stop
- 9PM | Return to OnlyJDM Haneda Airport Store. Tour ends.
Tour Information
Each vehicle provides a private self-drive experience, and you may bring up to 4 companions at no additional charge.
Other participants will also be driving different JDM vehicles on the on the day of the tour. All vehicles will travel together as a convoy to Daikoku PA, led by our professional lead car.
Vehicle Assignment
Vehicles for this tour will be assigned by our staff based on operational availability on the day of the tour.
If you have a preferred vehicle model, please feel free to contact us in advance to check availability.
Please note that specific vehicle models cannot be guaranteed or reserved in advance. The vehicle used for the tour will be subject to the final assignment on the day.
- To ensure a smooth rental process, all customers are required to pay a refundable deposit of 50,000 yen (GT-R & RX7 & LC500: 200,000 yen) in-store at the time of vehicle pickup This deposit will be returned around 10 business days (depending on your Credit card company).
- Please be on time, if you arrive more than 30 minutes late without notice, the order will be cancelled without any refund.
- We will require your original physical driver’s license, passport, and International Driving Permit (IDP) or Certified Japanese Translation. We do not accept digital versions or copies of any documents. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
If you do not bring valid and legal identification, or if the International Driving Permit (IDP)/Japanese Translation you bring is incorrect or invalid, we will not provide a refund. - To rent a vehicle, you must be at least 23 years old ( 26 years old for GT-R, RX-7, and LC500. Please note: The minimum age requirement for the JDM Tour is 21 years old) and hold a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 3 years. If you do not meet the required age and driving experience criteria, your reservation will be cancelled and no refund will be issued. Please make sure to confirm these conditions in advance.
- Pickup and return are available only during OnlyJDM Car Rental Haneda Airport Store business hours (10AM–6:30PM).
- Late hour return will be charged 6,600 yen / 30mins
- Rental terms are not eligible for free cancellation due to weather conditions.
- If our staff determines at pickup that you are not suitable to drive the reserved vehicle (including but not limited to repeated engine stalls, improper operation, or aggressive driving tendencies), your reservation will be cancelled without refund.
We may offer alternative models depending on availability, but specific models cannot be guaranteed.
- If you selected a child seat, please contact us after placing your booking and provide the child’s age and weight. This information is needed to confirm whether the selected vehicle is compatible with a child seat.
- Our vehicles are equipped with GPS and drive recorders that captures both the interior and exterior of the vehicle.
- Driving on track, part-taking in racing activities and reckless driving is strictly Forbidden. These activities may trigger an alarm.
- Vehicle condition may vary from photographs. (new damages, scratches or deterioration).
- Our service includes a mileage limit of 200 km per 24 hours. Every extra costs 55 yen/km (GT-R & RX7 & LC500 & Supra A80 & GR Supra: 165 yen/km).
- Payment must be made with a credit card in the name of the person renting the vehicle.
- Smoking in the car is strictly prohibited (including e-cigarettes)
